Beside the sea

Scape

You were two when we left,
When we ran for the sea,
So it’s all you’ve known,
That feel of freedom.

Blue, green, ash-grey,
The flag we raised,
Tied fast to the waves,
Sewn hard to the shore.

No photo today. For a change.
But new book still available (though obviously this poem isn't in it...). Help me need a second print run why don't you?

I love this poem! Mike would like it if we lived by the sea - and I would be ok with it if it were like your sea.

My book arrived! Thanks for the extra treats too. Very excited to spread them far & wide :)
